Today there is much talk about chefs<\/strong>, who have become almost “superstars<\/strong>“, somewhat like famous musicians<\/strong> or great footballers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I, however, chose the dining room<\/strong>. It is there that the restaurant’s atmosphere<\/strong> is created: where Andrea’s dishes<\/a> meet the people seated at the table and cuisine becomes lived experience<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The dining room is the place of hospitality and conviviality.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Recently we decided to redesign it<\/strong> to better reflect what we have become over time, both professionally and personally. New tables<\/strong>, comfortable chairs<\/strong>, softer lighting<\/strong>: an updated space, without losing our sense of proportion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The atmosphere remains informal<\/strong>, but with more subdued tones: soft lighting, low chromatic volumes<\/strong>. The kind of environment where you can speak peacefully, without having to raise your voice. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We continue not to use tablecloths<\/strong>: we prefer fabric-covered table surfaces, simpler and less formal. What I would like is for you to sit comfortably when you dine with us, without too much formality. The rest is done by the service<\/strong>, the dishes<\/strong>, and, if you wish, a friendly chat at the table<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

The dining room today has clean lines and soft colors<\/strong>: tables covered in dark fabric, comfortable chairs in shades of yellow<\/strong> and petrol green<\/strong>, wooden flooring<\/strong> and dark wood paneling on the walls. An informal yet measured atmosphere, with soft lighting and few elements, without embellishments<\/strong>. It is a space designed for relaxation<\/strong>, to speak calmly and let the dishes<\/a> and wines<\/a> do the rest. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even today, after 10 years, I find myself admiring the view<\/strong> from the large windows facing southwest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From there the eye falls upon Monprivato di Castiglione<\/strong> and then sweeps toward La Morra<\/strong> and the Barolo hills. On the right evenings the sunset literally enters the dining room<\/strong>, with the light making its rounds as the courses unfold. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The walls continue to speak of the territory: natural tones<\/strong>, deep greens<\/strong> and textured surfaces<\/strong> evoke the vineyards, woods and earth around us. A contemporary interior, but with a precise reference: the Langhe beyond the windows<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n
